Here at Simply Instrumental, we have long been driven to bring you not just the competitive
nature of Marching Band, but instead emphasize ALL the aspects of this great activity. This section was created when
we first started this website. We've continued to add to it over the last few years and hope to do so in
the future.
The articles listed here have been written by students, directors, judges, our staff, and even a few from
parents. We really
enjoy bringing you the "other side" of the activity - not just who won what award at what contest or who made
State Finals - but a glimpse into the people involved in the activity itself.
This is the very reason SI was created and it's the reason we continue working to bring you the latest info on
the Marching Band activity. We hope you enjoy these articles and if you're one of those special few that
enjoys putting thought to paper (or pixels to screen as it may be *grin*) - drop us an email...perhaps your article
